Back and Neck Injuries
One of the most common causes for a disability claim is an injury to the back or neck or other medical condition involving the spine or the discs that separate the spinal vertebrae. As a result of this, we have a lot of experience representing clients who have worked in occupations that require heavy lifting or repetitive motions that have, over time, left them disabled even if they never had a specific accident or injury.
At Access Disability Advocates, we help people suffering from disabling back and neck injuries and related conditions, including:
- Bulging or herniated disc
- Degenerated disc
- Disc compression
- Fractured vertebrae
- Pinched nerve and nerve impingement
- Spinal stenosis
- Spondylosis and spondylolisthesis
We know that back or neck injuries and related medical conditions can result in chronic pain
and total disability - even in cases where the symptoms of the condition do not show up on
objective tests like X-rays and MRI scans.
We will talk to you about your conditions and how they affect your daily life. We will ask about
your past medical treatment and the results of the treatment for your conditions. If you have
not seen a doctor for your neck or back problems, we will encourage you to do so in order to
establish a record of treatment. We will also inquire about other physical or psychological
conditions that may contribute to a finding of disability.
